9:15 AM – MORNING MARKET & WATCH LISTS UPDATE

It has been a somewhat quiet week for the market thus far.

However, that could soon change as we have a three major events scheduled for Thursday. U.K. voters will be going to the polls for a crucial general election as the European Central Bank meets, and James Comey testifies.

This morning, U.S. stock futures are flat.

European markets did open higher, while Asian markets ended their session mixed.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

“America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.”
– Harry S Truman

The market has not done too much so far this week, however after having 2 BUYS on Monday (ON and ALRM) we had another two more BUYS yesterday…

#1 OCLR – Shares actually first started trading above the stock’s posted TRIGGER PRICE of $9.50 on Monday afternoon.

Early yesterday morning the volume was well on pace to make the stock’s TRIGGER VOLUME being +279% above average.

This bullish action always confirms our BUY signal by default.

Shares closed yesterday with +8.7% gains.

For those who bought this breakout – from here any above average volume declines would of course be the first concern as there is no solid support until the downward trendline near $9.25.

#2 SGMS – This selection just started breaking out yesterday morning as shares traded above the stock’s posted TRIGGER PRICE of $24.65 while volume was +98% above average.

Going forward, there is some initial support of the highs of the previous base near $24.00.

I ran my routine stock screens this morning, and added 1 new stock to our watch lists.

We now have a total of 16 stocks which we will be watching for a possible breakout.

One is TSLX from the Technical SetUps WatchList which looks poised to possibly confirm a BUY signal.

No one has to wait for me to issue any type of alert. Any trading above the stock’s TRIGGER PRICE while the day’s volume is at least on pace to make the TRIGGER VOLUME would have this set up confirming a BUY signal up to the MAX BUY PRICE.

Current Portfolio Members can access all watch lists with updated trading criteria including – TRIGGER PRICE, TRIGGER VOLUME, and MAX BUY PRICE for every stock here.

NOTE: If you would like to be notified via email or text message when one of these stocks breaks out, make sure you are on the BreakOuts Alerts list here.
