The major benchmarks are modestly higher today, supported by a pair of economic reports which highlighted continued improvement in the economy.
Our EXEL continues trading higher above its TRIGGER PRICE of $28.55, yet the volume is still not confirming a BUY signal, and does not look likely to before today’s close.
Our CPRT is also trading above its TRIGGER PRICE of $32.27, yet today’s volume is only about average and not near the +50% which is needed to confirm a BUY signal.
2017 Complete Portfolio Updates
Below are stocks from our 2017 Complete Portfolio which have noteworthy action today.
CRM – Some new highs today, as volume is below average.
Shares remain in a short-term uptrend since reclaiming their 50-day moving average on 8/14.
A break below that upward trendline (green-dashed line) would be the first concern.
Our 1st SUPPORT is at the previous highs of the base near $91.50.
RHT – More new highs today as shares continue in an uptrend since making a successful on 8/11.
SUPN – Nice above average volume gains today of +5.5% with a +22% increase in volume.
GDDY – Continued gains today, yet volume remains below average and this is a bit of a concern.
RDNT – Keeps blasting to new highs today with volume conviction.
CDNS – New highs today with a lack of volume.
KEM – Continues blasting to new highs with an increase in volume.
DVMT – New highs again, yet volume is well below average and this is a concern as shares are extended from support.
WWD and PCH – Both making considerable price progress today, yet volume is only about average.
